Lost dogs at Cooper Dog Park.
They were our official greeters at the “Cooper Dog Park” entry. They are missing! They don’t eat much and require very little grooming. Neither dog will respond by calling them and if approached, they will not run away. If you see them, please call Animal Control at 918-338-4230. The only reward is by returning them and doing the right thing. Please send our watch dogs back. We miss them!

Thanks!
Many thanks to David Panell, Lee Brittenham and Ed Dusenberg for replacing the weathered wooden benches on the small dog side of Cooper Dog Park. We appreciate you!
Good news for Cooper Dog Park users
Now that daylight savings time is upon us, many of the users of Cooper Dog Park find it difficult to take advantage of the dog park for exercising and socializing with other dogs during evening hours. Many park users work until 5:00 P.M. and miss the daylight hours. Thanks to the generosity of Bartlesville citizens and four local businesses, the dog park now has solar lights that turn on at dusk. This will allow the park to be utilized during the regular city park hours. Closing time for the entire city park system is eleven o’clock p. m.
The Cooper Dog Park fundraising group of Bark Park Buddies wish to thank the following businesses for their willingness to contribute to the installation of the solar lights. Also to Keleher Outdoor Advertising for donating the use of their auger truck, Jesse Cramer Concrete, for the installation of pole base supports, Bartlesville Redi-Mix for the concrete, and Cornerstone Electric for the light pole installation and setup. Our thanks, also, goes to Bobby Robinson, City Park Superintendent, for his help with the coordination of engineering and utility requirements. Once again, several corporate businesses and the City of Bartlesville have joined forces to provide additional quality of life for our citizens.

Cooper Dog Park was so named to honor K-9 Officer Cooper, a Bartlesville, Oklahoma police dog, who was tragically poisoned while serving Bartlesville residents in 2010. Cooper was a valuable asset to the community and his dedication to duty is sorely missed.
